Exploring Completion

Earlier this week I participated in a beautiful, loving and poignant retreat with a group of people I've been with for 15 years as a student of the Diamond Approach.  The retreat's topic was "Completion." Our group identity will be merged within another group. As the retreat unfolded, I could feel a sense of understanding that was much deeper than any of my archived ideas and beliefs or dictionary definitions of completion.  I could feel an Alpha and Omega in the wholeness that is completion.  I was able to recognize how completion includes everything, including potentiality. And I was reminded of the Enso Symbol, a Zen circle, created with a single brush stroke.  The circle is usually not closed.  I'm reminded of an open-endedness I experience when my mind feels free of thoughts. It feels like my mind is uncluttered. When my mind is not cluttered with thoughts and ideas, I get to be present to each here and now, to what's actually happening in my beingness and not what I "think" is happening.
